When is CCT chargeable and payable?

Customs Common Tariff (CCT) is chargeable on vehicles (both new and used) that are imported from outside the EU.

It should be paid at the first point of entry of the vehicle into the EU.

Proof of payment must be presented when the vehicle is being registered in the State.
