| I am UK resident and I want to buy car from Ireland and transport it to Lithuania.I am not going to drive it there, i will transport it on a trailer instead, so can i deregister it in Ireland?Do I need to pay export or any other (customs) taxes?Thanks |

| There is no such thing as de-registering in Ireland. I has a car here that I removed from Ireland over a year ago and is still showing as registered. |
