Sir/Madam,
I wish to query if a Mitsubishi Shogun Sport Estate LWB also known as Pajero Sport Estate LWB (5 doors) can be converted to a category B vehicle but with the passenger seats e.g. like a Toyota Amazon. In other words can this jeep be made like a crew cab? It shall be used for commercial purpose. The vehicle's length and area of the luggage compartment is almost the same as the Toyota Amazon.
What is the cubic meter rule for such vehicles?
Will it need to be partioned between the rear passenger seats & the cargo area?
Thanking you.
Sincerely,
Emran Chaudry. _________________ EMC |

| Crew cabs are subject to inspection, we recommend you contact your local revenue office prior to doing conversion to get exact modifications that need to be made to your vehicle from them to avoid any ambiguity |

Thanks for the reply. Prior to posting the query on the VRT.IE, I had gone to the NCT centre Galway but the ladies there had no information for the regarding topic.
Where else can I enquire from?
Thanking you.
Sincerely,
EMC. _________________ EMC |
